For our Jack and Jones team in Beijing, China, we are currently looking for a junior designer to assist our CDM/senior designer to develop our collections.

Assignments and responsibilities

· Be part of a team that develops and designs products through every phase of development from sketching, fabric selection, accessory approval and fitting, to the final production.

· Create 4 collections and 4 express collections a year

· Collaborate and brainstorm on specified strategic design directions in corporation with design manager.

· Analyse sales figures and development style needs.

· Manage files to suppliers.

Qualifications

· You have a degree in fashion design.

· You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in fashion design, if less than 2 years, we can consider Design Assistant level.

· Preferably your previous work experience is from a men’s wear brand, high street level.

· You have advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

· You have the ability to design and create styles within Jack and Jones’s demographic.

· You can identify new trends and implement this in your work.

· You have a good eye for colour and composition, paying attention to detail.

· You can work independently.

· You have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

· You have good English skills, both spoken and written.

· You are willing to live and work in Beijing, China.

· You are interested in working with other cultures.
